We began in Taos, New Mexico. Haleigh, our Founder, was a ski-bum and young mother. Soon, it was obvious she had perfected something worthy of devotion. A small, black and white photograph advertising “The Cashmere Watchcap” in the New Yorker magazine started the phenomena. The phone rang, faxes arrived, hats were knit. Soon after, our hats began to work their magic and the watchcap gained a loyal fanbase.
